Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig, September 21 in 1983. She is an American actor best known for her character Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV series Lost. Maggie Grace is originally from Worthington located in Ohio left high school in order to move in Los Angeles after her divorced parents divorced. They were struggling to make ends meet and was offered her first acting role in Rachel's Room's lead character. The actress was able to secure an Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 with her portrayal of the 15 year old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television film Murder in Greenwich. Grace appeared as Shannon Rutherford on the Lost TV show in 2004. She played the lead role for two seasons, and also won the Screen Actors Guild Award.
